Do you fear failure? Do you lack confidence? Do you want success????

What do you do to inspire yourself? I like to google quotes. I type in the kind I need & voila - I find a nugget to inspire me for the day. Below are a few I looked up this morning.

I love you and want to see you succeed. I hope these give you wind beneath your persevering wings today!!!

"We must remember that one determined person can make a significant difference,
and that a small group of determined people
can change the course of history."  -- Sonia Johnson

“You've got to get up every morning with determination,

if you're going to go to bed with satisfaction.”

-- George Lorimer

“Failure will never overtake me if my

determination to succeed is strong enough.” .

-- Og Mandino

“Fear of failure must never be a reason not to try something.”

 -- Frederick Smith

"There are no secrets to success.
It is the result of preparation, hard work,
and learning from failure."
-- Colin Powell

It was said at our coach meeting last Saturday, 'when you reach out and get the info for yourself, search for it, read it, take it in...then there is growth'. What are you taking in & learning to nourish your soul to grow?

My brother-in-law heard it asked: Are you goal-oriented or growth-oriented? For some, we reach our goals and stop there. But if we stay 'growth-oriented' than we will continually be setting goals to challenge us to grow!

When I focus on personal growth, my family will benefit, my business will benefit, my life will benefit & will bring fulfillment! What areas do you need to grow in? Think about it today! Share with me if you want some accountability!

Grow in confidence.
Don't fear failure, don't fail to try!

Seizing the Opportunity!

In 3 months, of only what time I could salvage from all of my to-dos at home and with my kids, I've manage to make more than a few hundred dollars at this thing! I haven't spent endless hours doing all that I could...just enough to make enough to pay for my shakes so far.

I signed up to be a coach with this amazing company, whose heart is to stop the the trend of obesity...which I share that passion as well. But when I signed up, I had no idea of all the information and tools I would have at my fingertips to become a better ME.

Since I seized that original opportunity, I have had the honor of helping a handful of people start their own coaching business (as they work a full-time jobs), and I have had the pleasure of helping a couple handfuls of people start reeling in their bad eating habits and a few starting stricter regimens to lose weight. One friend won a contest this week of the most weight loss, and I was blessed with a 'thank you'. I don't think that I do a whole lot, it's all in the power of accountability, information, and encouragement. All 3 of those, paired up with intense desire gets results. (Yes, true desire...that's a topic on the horizon, stay tuned for that.)

Now that I've become a coach, signed up with the 'right' person....more opportunities have opened up to me. This amazing, super-skilled and wonderful consultant, who I am calling a life-coach, is now available to me, for free, the first Wednesday of every month, here in Bakersfield....for the next 6 months. His words were my language, and all that I've hoped for in my life are apparently more possible than I ever dreamed. There's an opportunity for you too, to hear this man! Great stuff if you want your life on the right course in life! Just ask me how.

I've also signed up for an online challenge that is divinely timed with these life-coaching meetings. It is apparent that this season in my life is ordained to teach me how to make more of my time, so that I have more to spend with who are my priorities = God and my family.

So I share this all with you to tell you, you too can seize this opportunity and take advantage of being on a team driven toward success, not just in the wallet, or in the professional arena (although that will happen)...but success for your whole life!

If you want to take advantage of this same opportunity and change the course of your life for good, email me, message me on FB. I'm all about helping people and I want to help you seize this opportunity, just as I did!

Flexing my organizational skills!

Just relocated across the town I live in. Have 2 kids & a husband. Just launched my own home-based, internet-managed business. What does this all mean?

In RE: to my home:
1. I still have a little bit of stuff to put away.
2. I have a house to decorate, but need to paint before I do that.
3. Find a smokin' deal on some coffee brown, low-back leather sofas.
4. Keep my awesome kitchen counter (off from the garage) decluttered.

In RE: to my kids:
1. Need to plan out park days better.
2. Need to schedule daily story/activity time regularly.
3. Got to get more energetic & creative.
4. Get out of the house more (backyard, museums, playdates, etc.)

In RE: to my husband:
1. Schedule date-nights w/ him.
2. Continue our brainstorming mornings.
3. Work cooperatively w/ him.

In RE: to my Beachbody Business:
1. Listen to training calls & watch training webinars.
2. Place an order of marketing tools.
3. Find the health-oriented/desperate to lose weight people.
4. Execute my program & get in the best shape of my life.

Now, the hard part...I need/want to do all of the above NOW, and I still have things like laundry, grocery shopping, family bbqs, and day-to-day chores. All the while, I need and must keep my time with the Lord as the #1 priority to help everything else flow & happen. This week, I need to flex my organizational ability.

For me, this entry above has helped get it out of my head & in front of my eyes. Next step is to make a realistic list of things I need to focus on just this week. And then daily, put one of those items on my to-do list. For me personally, journaling and writing out all the stuff I need and want to do helps. Sometimes when I read what I've written, I am able to cross out the non-essential stuff & then highlight the high priority items.

I think it's Dave Ramsey who has coined the phrase "On Paper - On Purpose". I've lived like this for quite sometime w/out a catch phrase. But nonetheless, we all know that when we write down our goals, we are more likely to achieve them. So look at your everyday 'to-do' list as a 'List of Goals for the Day'. Try it yourself & see what you get done this week. Got my list going...now to get my time organized, my mind flexed & focused! Let's get 'er done!!!!
